Born to a tender aged single mother of 15 (The Late Carrie Sewraj – 45) who believed in me and whose dream was also to be a well known professional singer, performer, song writer and recording artist, one could only imagine, what would become of my musical pursuit. The kind of void that music was able to reach within me during the toughest, loneliest, most challenging situations, is the sole reason for its influence in my life. As a little girl, my mother’s passion for music and dance is what reeled me in to the power of rhythm, sound and emotion. In my latter years, my Music Degree is what made me grow an appreciation for music on another level. The healing that also took place in my life as a baby plays tribute to my love for dance and God who is Spirit, who gives meaning to all the music in me – my eternal essence.
